Haley Fragen (she/her) is a theatre artist originally hailing from Los Angeles, now based in NYC.
Haley Fragen is a Brooklyn-based Jewish lesbian theatermaker, whose practice includes producing, directing, performing, and arts administration. She currently works as Associate Producer at HERE Arts Center. Recent credits include: Show Trial (Assistant Director & Producer, The Tank and The Bohemian National Hall), Lottie and the Deep Blue Sea (Producer, Ars Nova ANT Fest), and Because the Grass Started to Breathe (Director and Co-Producer, Garden Level Theater Co.). She has worked in artistic producing and administrative capacities at the Cherry Lane Theatre, What Will the Neighbors Say?, and Evamere Entertainment. She graduated in May 2021 with a BFA in Acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she attended Atlantic Acting School, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, NYU Florence, and the Brecht, Stanislavsky and Beyond Acting Studio at NYU Berlin.
As a director and performer, Haley aims to illuminate intimacy and illicit empathy on stage through action, moment-to-moment connection, and radical listening. She believes in innovative, groundbreaking, accessible storytelling.
